More brands are outsourcing portions of their search marketing budget in 2011, reversing a recent trend, according to SEMPO’s “2011 State of Search Marketing Report,” released April 13. More than four in 10 companies (44%) conduct their SEO entirely in-house, compared with 51% last year.

New Cisco Study Reveals Peak Internet Traffic Increases Due to Social Networking and Broadband Video Usage Cisco Visual Networking Index Study Finds Todays Average Global Broadband Connection Generates 11.4 Gigabytes of Internet Traffic per Month The average broadband subscriber in the world generates 11.4 Gigabytes of traffic per month, and the top one percent of users generate over 20 percent of the global internet traffic. These and other interesting insights can be found in the new Usage study of the Cisco Visual Networking Index.
