Take care, some ‘traffic’ services are used to generate fake popularity, maybe I’m just confused by semantics, I assume you want to advertise your site to prospective clients. There are lots of forms of paid advertising, you can place banner ads on selected sites related to your industry, small time operators use someone like BuySellAds a re-occuring banner is good for getting the company name branded in their minds. Smaller operations might use an ad broker like buySellAds.

Pay per click ads like yahoo and google offer are good for testing the market on a small scale. Based on user’s search phrases, terms associated with lots of money tend to cost more, clicks on top position ads would cost this much for these terms: offshore financial services $3.78, financial services $5.44, financial services company $4.52. These figures are for PPC ads in which you only pay on a per visitor basis. Ads in less desirable positions can be considerably less, you can have PPC ads only show to a certain demographic, geographical targeting being the more common way of narrowing the audience. (For perspective, ppc ads for “bubble gum” cost about $0.45)

Businesses that rely heavily on PPC ads have well defined idea of the lifetime value of the average customer and the percentage of visits that convert to customers.

Of course if you create an informative web site that is a true service to the public with informative articles, perhaps a discussion forum, search engines may send you visitors at no cost, usually a serious seo campaign to make your site appear to be already popular helps it’s ranking. A business like yours would benefit from professional press releases. There are free distribution services, but serious businesses pay prWeb something like $60 to distribute the press release that includes a link to your site, resulting in both direct traffic from readers of the press release and an enhancement of search engine ranking.

being in the seo business, i will give you a valuable advise. DON’T buy any traffic from anyone. most of the traffic brokering companies/sites are pure scam and run on automated tools with proxy to generate fake hits on your site. basically you will just throw your money away.

just think of it! if someone had any real traffic to sell, why in the world that person would sell it for pennies rather than trying to convert the traffic? yeh, i know, they will tell you its overstock inventory but there is no such thing called overstock inventory when it comes to traffic. i can use all the traffic in the world and so can anyone else.

if you need to buy traffic, then setup a PPC campaign with adwords or YSM. if you need cheap traffic, then do some seo on your site and you will get organic search engine traffic. don’t buy traffic and waste your money

    I would recommend http://www.WebPricedRight.com

They have a product called Search Engine Visibility that works great! They have 24/7 free support and some of the best prices I’ve found. They also have great hosting deals and I’ve never had an issue with down time.

I have used over half a dozen companies over the last 9 years. I am a Graphic Designer and I service over 20 clients. Most of the service providers that I used promised the world but just raised their prices the next year. For the last 3 years I have been working with Web Priced Right. I wasn’t sure at first because their prices were relatively low compared to other options out there. It was the best decision I’ve ever made!

I am currently hosting over 40 websites with them and never once have had a second of down time. They have never raised their prices on me and the tech support is unreal. They have some of the most experienced and knowledgeable technical staff that I have ever worked with.

I am a webmaster. Thats what I do for a living. The best website I have ever used to generate traffic is http://www.websitetrafficresellers.com . It gives you a bunch of services like buying very targeted traffic, email marketing campaigns, Press releases, and SEO. Hope this helps and good luck!

I agree with most of the people answering this question. Buying traffic is a bad idea. There are many other ways to get traffic to your website and if you are willing to pay money. If you have money to burn, then buying traffic is for you, just think of all the free ways you can target traffic if only you apply some planned effort. With all other free traffic ideas good content that people want to read and want to spread the word of mouth about your site is what works here.. do give them tools like tell a friends to do that,
